“Wirtschaftsjunioren” receive insiders tour of ultra-modern cargo terminal

The “Wirtschaftsjunioren” (Idar Oberstein/RLP) are mainly comprised of young entrepreneurs and executives from all sectors of the economy. Their tour on the 2nd of July started inside the cargo terminal, which first focused on the technology of freight such as the extra-large X-Ray equipment and the High-Rack Storage system, and ended airside of the facility, where a Boeing 747 freighter had just landed and was taxiing to park position.

The twelve visiting “Wirtschaftsjunioren” (junior entrepreneurs and executives) took the opportunity to get informed about logistic pros and cons plus were able to see, first hand, some of the most important advantages like time and distance to position. (see photos)

Questions regarding the strategic applicability of the recently awarded TAPA TACSS certificate in combination with brand-marketing and customer acquisition were a significant part of the dialog.

The VG Team (Mr. T. Leoni & Mr. V. Jakobi) found the visit quite beneficial, discussing the various economical perspectives with the young professionals. The visitors also expressed their gratitude for the insiders view and the detailed, in-depth answers.
